Middle School Rebecca Caudill Program
Every year, Illinois librarians and students pick a group of 20 book to make the Rebecca Caudill list. This list is geared toward middle school students, and quite frankly, it's awesome. The books are all just fantastic. At the end of the year, any student who has read 4 or more books can vote for the winning book of the year.
Our school will participate in the voting and much, much more. Any student who has read 3 books by February 15 will get a pizza party. There will be other rewards throughout the year.
At the end of the year, there will be a raffle for tons of prizes like money, candy, and a $50 Amazon Gift Card. Students will get a raffle ticket for each book they've read.
To track students' reading, you just fill out the Reading Redskins form for the competition and say that it is a Rebecca Caudill book.
Rebecca Caudill books are located on the top of the fiction shelves and are labeled with signs.
