Competition 4: Reading Redskins
Use the link above to count your pages for the Reading Redskins page program.
Students at the middle school compete in the Reading Redskins program 4 times a year. There are prizes for reaching 500 pages and 1000 pages each competition. The top three readers from each grade get to pick a book. They will get a copy of that book to keep, and the library will buy a copy of that book and dedicate it to the student. There is also a competition each time:
There are consequences for cheating: any student who is found to have plagiarized or in some other way falsified their reading logs will face disciplinary action ranging from detentions to AER depending on the severity of the offense. It goes without saying that the pages logged as a result of cheating will not count and these students would be excluded from any celebrations associated with the competitions.

- 2nd competition: red vs. black lit class competition
- 3rd competition: vs. teachers
- 4th competition: vs. parents
